Check back here for updates, information, and pictures leading up to our big day on May 30, 2015.
Wow. We cannot believe we are 30 days out! Since moving to San Francisco about a month ago, we are especially excited to see all of our friends and family together in one place! Let the countdown to Iowa officially begin! And now all stop what you're doing and say a little prayer for sunshine and warmer weather on May 30th. See you all SO SOON! Drew & Chase 4.30.15
The two hotels that have our wedding blocks are directly next to each other. There is really no difference except in terms of aesthetics. That said, the Hotel Vetro block is FULL, so if you have not booked your rooms yet, please book at the SHERATON and make sure to mention the JAZ/CECIL wedding for the discounted rate. And dont hesitate to let us know if encounter any problems!
50 Days to go - see you all soon! x
April 1st is fast approaching! Please RSVP as soon as you can. We hope it's a "yes"!
See you all very soon.

There was a lot of twining. And scripting. And stamping... and stamping.... But we did it - our wedding invitations are officially in the mail!
ABOUT THE INVITATIONS:
For those wondering, the imagery was taken from a book called "The Palms" by Carl Von Martius. He was a professor of Botany at the University of Munich and director of the Royal Botanic Garden. The book was published in 1823 and, at the time, was an encyclopedic treasury of the sum of all human knowledge on the topic of Palms. It included 240 exquisite chromolithographic illustrations, including landscape views of palm habitats and botanical dissections. We felt it was the perfect artistic encapsulation of our love for nature and art.
Drew's father is an avid stamp collector and thus, it was only fitting that we art direct the postage a bit. We chose stamps that related to us or the wedding in some way - Iowa statehood, Forest Conservation, Bald Eagles (hundreds winter in Chase's hometown of Keokuk, Iowa), endangered species, Harvey Milk.
Sending the invites makes it all feel very real. We are so excited at the prospect of you joining us for our special day. And please know we are truly grateful for your traveling to a barn in the middle of the country for it.
Don't forget to send in your RSVP cards!
